Welcome to Gir Safari (the “Website”, girsafari.co), owned and operated by Wildlife Safari Tourism (Sole Proprietorship), proprietor Lakshadweep Singh (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing this Website or making a booking through it, you (“you”, “user”, “guest”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

1. Who we are

We are a private travel facilitator that assists visitors in booking Gir Jungle Safari and Devalia (Interpretation Zone) jeep safaris and related tour packages at Sasan Gir, Gujarat. Safari permits are issued by the Gujarat Forest Department. We are not the official government website of the Forest Department or Gir National Park, and we do not control or guarantee permit issuance, routes, timings or wildlife sightings.

2. Services

Through this Website you can check availability, select a date, time slot and jeep (gypsy), enter traveller details and pay an advance to request a safari booking. Our role is limited to facilitating and processing your booking with the concerned authority and coordinating your safari experience.

3. Bookings & permits

• All bookings are provisional and subject to availability and to approval/issuance by the Gujarat Forest Department.
• Each traveller must provide accurate details and a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Passport, OCI or School ID; foreign nationals must provide passport details) exactly as it will be carried to the park.
• Bookings made with incorrect, incomplete or mismatched ID details may be treated as invalid at the gate, with no liability on us.
• Routes are allotted by the Forest Department at the gate and cannot be chosen or guaranteed.

4. Pricing & payments

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are charged per jeep (gypsy), depending on the safari, jeep size, nationality and weekday/weekend, as shown on our tariff.
• You pay only the advance online at the time of booking to confirm your slot. The balance (jeep charge) is payable directly at the park on the day of the safari.
• Online payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. We do not collect or store your card or bank credentials on our servers; payment data is handled by the PCI-DSS compliant gateway.
• Applicable taxes, camera fees or government levies, where charged, are payable as per prevailing rules.

5. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Traveller responsibilities & park rules

• Reach the reporting point at least 30 minutes before your slot and carry the same original ID used at booking.
• Firearms, pets, alcohol and loud music are prohibited inside the forest. Wear neutral colours, keep noise low, and never step out of the jeep during the safari.
• An official registered guide is compulsory on every safari; instructions of the guide/driver and Forest Department must be followed at all times.

7. Limitation of liability

Wildlife sightings are natural and never guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wildlife Safari Tourism shall not be liable for any accident, injury, loss, delay, cancellation, change in timing/route, or any act of the Forest Department, weather or force majeure, occurring before, during or after the safari. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the advance amount received by us for the specific booking.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose, not to make speculative or false bookings, and not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this Website — text, layout, graphics and logo — is owned by or licensed to Wildlife Safari Tourism and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India having jurisdiction over our registered place of business.
